Fountain Hills Youth Theater

June 6 - 22, 2008
The final show of our wonderful season will be this year’s YABOY Production (Young Actors Benefiting Other Youth) that will focus on eating disorders and how they affect the lives of two young girls caught in the self denial spiral. Encouraged by the way they feel society wants to see them and their social standing in the class, they think that you have to be “thin to win”. Encouraged by their other bulimic friends to gorge and purge, symbolized by the machine the “Ipecac 2000” and the Zen mantra of the anorexic crowd, “self denial, self reward, self glorification” the two girls find themselves in a hospital, victims of their choices and uncertain of their destinies.
SHOW TIMES: Fridays at 7:00 PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 PM

Fountain Hills Theater Mainstage

June 13 – July 6, 2008
* This production replaces the previously announced “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” which had to be removed due to the upcoming tour.

Faust meets professional baseball in this Broadway classic from the creators of “The Pajama Game.”

Middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd trades his soul to the Devil (the charming but devious Mr. Applegate) for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. As young baseball sensation Joe Hardy, he transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life (and wife) he's left behind. With the help of a handy escape clause and a guilt-ridden temptress named Lola, Joe outsmarts Applegate, returns to his former self and shepherds the Senators to the World Series.

SHOW TIMES: Friday and Saturday 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM
